Hi, I am Betty, an illustrator based in the UK.

I am very passionate about reportage illustration, and enjoy drawing on location, where I am able to capture conversation, atmospheres and small moments between people and communities. Being in the outdoors has always played a big part in my life, I love being able to work on location, where an atmosphere is lively and there are always things to capture!

As well as people, I have a real interest in capturing the flavours and excitement of food within my illustrations.

I create my work using traditional media, particularly coloured pencils. When drawing on location I work in both, ink pen and pencil, depending on which works best for that particular atmosphere.
